Roland Hansalik has over 35 years experience in the international marketplace. He has 20 years institutional trading experience and 15 plus years serving private clients. He began as a Silver and Gold trader and later created an Ecu arbitrage desk at UBS in Zurich. Upon moving to London, he headed the EMG desk at Lehman Brothers. After hearing his three girls develop English accents and growing tired of the dreary London weather, he decided to move across the pond and started the fixed income franchise at Lehman Brothers Los Angeles. Roland's knowledge of fixed income, stocks, commodities and currency overlay is unsurpassed in Switzerland.

Ramona Cejka-Ott joined Aquila Himco in 2015 and served as a Portfolio Manager for 7 years. She subsequently gained valuable experience at another asset manager before returning in May 2023 to assume the role of Head of Portfolio management and co-CEO. In her current position, she is responsible for the strategic and tactical asset allocation as well as providing support to Roland in leading the company. Prior to joining Aquila Himco, Ramona worked for Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft (Schweiz) AG for ten years. She holds a degree in Banking & Finance and is a certified Environmental, Social and Governance Analyst CESGA. She speaks German and English fluently.

Mark Lazarevs joined Aquila Himco in June 2022. He is a Junior Portfolio Manager and handles the development of trading ideas, execution of orders, asset allocation, FX trades and cooperation with banks. He is also responsible for relationships with existing clients as well as developing relationships with prospective clients. Mark has been working in various areas of finance since 2019 and holds a BA in Economics from Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration as well as a BA in Business Administration from Fernfachhochschule Switzerland. He is fluent in German, English, Russian and Latvian.

Tatjana Pandurov joined Aquila Himco AG in September 2022 as a Junior Portfolio Manager. She handles the development of trading ideas, asset allocation, FX Trades and the collaboration with customers, partners and banks. She also monitors regulatory and customer related requirements. Tatjana has worked previously for another Aquila Partner as a junior Portfolio Manager and is a certified International Investment Analyst CIIA. She speaks German, English, Spanish and Serbian fluently.

Samantha Hansalik joined Aquila Himco AG in October 2024 as an Assistant Portfolio Manager. In this capacity, she assists in portfolio management, executes trade orders, handles a range of administrative duties, and contributes to the firm’s marketing and client outreach efforts. With a professional background spanning multiple areas of finance since 2018, Ms. Hansalik has developed a strong foundation in financial analysis and asset management. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the University of Georgia. Fluent in both German and English, she brings an international perspective and a diverse skill set to her role at Aquila Himco AG.

Claudia Hansalik has been responsible for Aquila Himco administration since inception. Additionally, Claudia oversees all Compliance related topics including KYC updates, Contracts with Clients, Banks and Partners, PEP reviews, and PCC for staffing. Web Site Management, Telecommunications, Database management and Billing of quarterly Fees are also her responsibilities. She holds a BA Degree in Marketing and speaks German and English fluently. In essence Claudia makes sure all aspects of the firm run smoothly.
